When men realize the shortest way home to that place which we belong, reconnected with the Father.

But still he says, “I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and training toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus (3:12–14 NIV).

Men must realize that change only happens to their lives as they accept the fact that they have died with Christ and now live with Him (Rom 6:11). Paul declares that He died with Christ and even though he (Paul) lives, it isn’t him but Christ that is living in him. Paul didn’t change, he, his old self, was replaced by the true self – Christ (Gal. 2:20). He was/is complete (perfect) in Christ (Col. 2:10). When Paul said, “I press on…” he is declaring that he desired to live out all that he already was in Christ. This is what he means when he says, “Christ is formed in you” (Gal. 4:19). All of us who believe are now challenged to be by faith what we already are – alive in Him.
